The eagle-eyed among you may have already noticed that I have posted Chapter One of The Enchanted Quest here.
Now then, a couple of things.
Thing One is that if you haven’t yet read The Immortal Realm, you really should NOT be reading the first chapter of The Enchanted Quest – it includes some really big spoilers. You’ve been warned, and now if you spoil The Immortal Realm for yourself, you have no one else to blame!
Thing Two is for those of you who have read The Immortal Realm. You will remember that the book ends with a brief “epilogue” that has Tania, Rathina and Connor on a boat. Well, the posted chapter covers things that happen before they get on that boat. It starts pretty much where the main story of The Immortal Realm leaves off. As promised, I will be posting the next chapter at the start of December. In Chapter 2 they enter the town of…hey! Wait a minute! I’m not telling you that yet.
Anyway, as I’ve said before, you get the first chapter now, the second chapter in December, and the book itself hits the stores on the 1st February next year.
I know for many of you, this is too little and too long between, and next February is a million years away – but if I show you more or tell you more before February 2010, the publishers have threatened to beat me to death with a shovel…in a manner of speaking…and you wouldn’t want that happening, would you?

why did you have to end the first chapter like that now i just cant wait till december!!!! 🙁 but on the bright side that was amasing i cant wait for the book to come out!!!! and i think that conner is getting way in over his head HOW can he think that he can figure out farie?????
It’s amazing!(as usual) A life to lose for true love’s sake? I can only hope I’ll find something more interesting to do so that part of the rhyme won’t haunt me to death! I wish December would come quicker with all my heart!
AFJ. “A life to lose for true love’s sake…” Hmmm…I wonder what that actually means? Any thoughts, guys?
Does it mean somebody will die because somebody loves somebody? Like(just random names here) Connor dies because Tania loves Edric?

I think that Faerie’s problems plague and death is all thanks to Tania and Edric’s fight. Its kind of like if love isn’t immortal than neither are the fairies. I think someone must die to save Faerie, thus restoring true love.
AFJ. Zoey – It might mean what you suggest – or it might mean that a life is lost for the sake of a different kind of love…
Jenna – that’s an interesting thought…true love being broken breaks Faerie too. Wow! That’s quite a concept!
or maybe because a mortal “loves” a faerie born. but we know that the true love being broken isn’t why the plague started.
also you see mr. jones how am i going to put my story up, it has pictures and i am setting it up like a book?????????????????????

oh and maybe its in the treaty thing that the divine harper made that faeries cant fall in love with mortals or vice versa…. that would be bad if tania fell for connor……
not a book it’s the short story thing, but it is like oh (ten pages long) you know, just the shortest short story ever…
lol mine is like 2 or so pages long!!!lol!
well thats better than me… i just can’t seem to get anything right when I write.
im sure its wonderfull if i could my story would be 50 pages long but i want to keep it short and sweet! 😉

cool!!!!! i just started on a new book i have to make all sorts of diff stories other wise i get confused cuz my mind can only hold so much!!!!

sort of…, not really…, quite possibly…, quite honestly i barely started it so, i have NO idea what it is going to be about.
you see in some part of my first story, somebody gives her a locket and ya know. yeah…
